Nittelnacht is a joint winter event organized by Hillel and the Jewish Student Union of Württemberg (JSUW). The evening combines Hanukkah with Jewish-American winter traditions and creates an open, warm atmosphere in which all participants can enjoy themselves together. Together, we will watch the film “Freedom Writers,” enjoy Chinese food—inspired by the well-known Jewish-American Christmas tradition—and prepare additional Channuka-specific foods such as latkes and sufganiyot.
