Join us for Visionssummit 2026 – Identity Crisis Edition, a unique four-day gathering for young Jews (18–35) from across Germany. In a time of growing polarization, rising antisemitism, and increasing pressure to fit into narrow categories, we come together to explore the many dimensions of Jewish identity, strengthen our sense of agency, and shape a shared vision for Jewish life in Germany. Through honest conversations, meaningful encounters, and collective learning, we discover how diversity within our community can become a source of resilience, what unites us despite our differences, and how we can actively shape our place in German society.
The summit will start at 4 pm on Thursday, November 19, and finish by 1 pm on Sunday, November 22, 2026.

Purpose of the summit
Visionssummit 2026 is a platform for young Jews of diverse cultural, religious, and political backgrounds to explore what Jewish identity can mean in contemporary Germany. Together, we embrace the richness and complexity of our experiences, strengthen our capacity to navigate differences, and shape a shared vision for Jewish life rooted in pluralism, solidarity, and mutual responsibility.In a time of growing polarization, we ask: How do we define our role in German society beyond external labels and the burden of representation? How can we remain rooted in Jewish tradition while actively participating in a diverse democratic society? And what holds us together despite our multiple identities, histories, and experiences?

- Identify Common Challenges: Explore the opportunities and tensions of navigating multiple identities, and examine how external expectations shape Jewish life in Germany.
- Envision Alternatives: Reimagine what Jewish peoplehood, participation, and solidarity can look like in a diverse society, embracing complexity as a source of strength.
- Practice Diversity: Build relationships across differences through respectfuldialogue that values multiple perspectives and lived experiences.
- Develop Solutions: Create practical ideas and collaborative strategies to strengthen Jewish agency, resilience, and solidarity.

Logistical Information

PARTICIPATION FEE
We ask for a contribution of 60 € per participant (120 € in case of a single room preference). This fee includes participation, accommodation for three nights, all meals including coffee breaks and drinks, workshop attendance and green travel costs (see below).If you are unable to afford the participation fees but would still like to attend, please reach out to us per email.

ACCOMMODATION AND ROOMING ARRANGEMENTS
Participants will primarily be accommodated in double rooms with one other person of the same gender. We will be able to provide a limited number of single rooms at an additional cost of 60 €. If you have any specific rooming requests or concerns, including the desire to share your room with a particular person, please let us know in the registration form. We will do our best to ensure a comfortable stay for all.

TRAVEL
Travel costs for public transport will be covered up to 80 € per person (2nd class fare, depending on distance, not including seat reservations).
You are responsible for making your own travel arrangements and keeping your receipts and tickets, which you will be asked to submit electronically after the summit. Please refrain from booking tickets until your participation is confirmed.

FOOD
All lunches, dinners, and snacks provided at the summit will be certified kosher. Breakfast will be served at the hotel in the form of a buffet with kosher options. Please share any additional dietary needs or restrictions in the registration form.
