Yom HaShoah – Zikaron BaSalon – Share your History!

In commemoration of Yom HaShoah, Hillel is partnering with Zikaron BaSalon to create a meaningful space for memory, connection, and storytelling. Zikaron BaSalon ("Remembrance in the Living Room") is a global grassroots initiative that brings Holocaust remembrance out of formal ceremonies and into intimate, personal settings - living rooms, community spaces, and gatherings among friends. It's about making memory feel close, human, and alive.

Our gathering will be exactly that: a warm, welcoming evening where we share personal and family stories, listen to one another, and reflect on what this history means for who we are today. This isn't about grief or heaviness - it's a positive, communal experience rooted in the belief that our stories deserve to be heard and carried forward.

We'll hear personal testimonies and close with an open conversation about identity, memory, and our shared responsibility to the future. Bring a story. Bring a friend.
