Sketching the Rabbis, a Jewish Artistic Tradition: Exploration in Oil Pastels  

🎨 Join Hani Portner and your Hillel friends for an artistic spring evening, all abilities and experiences welcome with supplies provided.    

✏️This art workshop will be a creative space to explore the beauty of Jewish art, portraiture, and fun oil pastel techniques. We will learn about and view examples of Jewish artists creating artworks of Rabbis throughout time, and then create our own! Some artists we will gather inspiration from about are Vali Mintzi ,Emmanuel Levy, Dora Holzhandler, Arno Nadel, Jacob Kramer, Simeon Solomon, Moritz Daniel Oppenheim, and Issachar Ber Ryback.
