Raphaëlle Oskar is a Berlin-based storyteller, performing artist and scholar of the Talmud and Jewish Studies. Her work explores the intersection of performance and textuality. Introduction to the Mishnah/Mishnah 101/ABC of the Mishnah This course offers an accessible introduction to the Mishnah, the foundational text of Jewish oral law compiled in the 3rd century CE. Through guided study of selected mishnayot it explores the language, structure and reasoning fundamental to Jewish legal and ethical traditions. The course aims to foster appreciation of the Mishnah's enduring influence on Jewish thought and practice.
